There is a ton of room for RA both roster wise AND cap wise.
Top pairing ability guys are hard to find. When you get them, you keep them, or you are forever spinning your wheels looking for their replacements.

And I generally agree. I also agree that trading value for assets as they line up with our general competitive window also makes sense, you dont want to cut the team down to the bone.
Kadri and Huberdeau dont really matter, they're going to be ancient and on the tail-end of their deals by the time the Flames are even close to ready.
I think that Weegar and Raz are going to be important anchors at the back for that period but they're going to need help. Thing is, if they're not there either it becomes even more problematic.
