Las Vegas and Seattle were mentioned and their ownership groups have indicated winning is a priority like no other .

Tampa Bay ownership bought the team and Jeff Vinik was laser focused on bringing Cups home. Multiple wins, multiple final appearances, how many long playoff runs and great seasons under his belt. He gave an interview years ago wondering why such a great market, city and team had only a single Cup in team history since it started in 1992? 2004 was a good year for the Lighting winning the Cup but it was time to push forward with more modern memories. The status quo of looking back to memories of 2004 were not good enough.

Meanwhile in Boston, New England Patriots fan's are out for blood from ownership. Ownership is reassuring fans that after appearing in 45% of Superbowls (winning 6) during a solid run for 20 years, they are still looking to win. The expectation that was built there was that the Patriots are expected to be in the final or about as close to it as possible.

Our owner is sitting here giving about as rare of an interview as it get's and him and the fans are celebrating that he said " 2004 was a real special privilege "
If you bring a preconceived massive bias to any topic you won't be relevant in a discussion.
