As far as I can tell by looking at the schedules for the Flames and the Kings, there are ZERO days between now and the end of the regular season for which both the Flames and the Kings are not playing, AND which doesn't put at least one of the teams into a 3 games in 3 nights situation.

Likely has to be some moving around of other games to get this game in.

EDIT:

Both teams are currently scheduled to play their last game of the regular season on April 15th. Other teams are playing regular season games until April 17th. The Kings play the 14th and 15th already - so the easiest option for the NHL is to play this game on April 17th.
