Zary could progress, he could not. Pettersson had 89 and 102 points the last two seasons. Zary is the type of player you have to move in a Pettersson deal.
For the record, I do not think it would be a good idea for the Flames to acquire Pettersson and, if they are going for a forward like that, I'd like to see them be more patient. Although I do understand how having a #1 goalie changes things.
