I don't get those vibes from Pettersson at all. Pettersson seems quite engaged with the team and wants the team to win.
Pettersson is a young guy, who doesn't speak English as his first language, he's not going to be as engaged as Miller. Miller's likely over-engaged and needs to chill out. All reports I've seen show that Pettersson gets along with other players and engages socially:

I get that the Canucks are competing "now", but Miller is 31, almost 32. I don't see the Canucks competing this year, so trading Pettersson and keeping the 32 year old player with a history of conflict seems nuts to me.
If anything, the Canucks, even without the Pettersson/Miller beef, should be looking at trading Miller for reasons of asset management alone. Miller's likely got 1-3 good years left. The Canucks aren't winning with what they have now, so trade Miller for a couple of big younger assets and run it out again while Hughes and Pettersson are still in their primes.
