They probably don't want Vladar to get cold. He's a better goalie when he isn't sitting for too long and was pretty darn good against Vegas despite the loss.
A big part of Wolf's success so far this season has been because of the conservative deployment. This was probably a game the had Vladar scheduled to play and since his last game was good, there was no reason to deviate from that.
