I was unopposed to Pelletier being being sent down at the start of the season, and it looks like the time with the Wranglers helped him find his game again, somewhat. He's found ways to contribute since the recall, and depending on who stays and goes by the deadline, he might just become a permanent fixture. Nice to see.
With him, and the often mentioned Coronato, Zary, Wolf, we have a good young nucleus starting to form. Parekh will only add to that when he arrives. We just need that dynamic presence up front, ideally a center as we know, to really get this group moving ahead.
Huska, along with the vets Backlund, Coleman, Kadri, Huberdeau, and Andersson have really done well shepherding this group along.
Players filling in the gaps have been generally good, though of course inconsistent. That's why your players like Mantha, Kuzmenko, and Sharagovich were there to be had in the first place.
The start of 2025 looks to be much more fun than expected!
