Our bridges are getting theyre asses kicked by this crap. Look at the rails on top of the medians on some bridges, thr light standards, the traffic boxes all of which are rapidly corroded by that crap.
I saw exposed rebar on 2 bridge decks on Deerfoot north and south calf robe bridge completely degraded and the concrete was spalling to basically a consistency of loose gravel. They paved over this 2 days after i saw this.
The expansion gaps on some bridges grates are losing thickness and are warped and thinning . I drive all over the city and am dumbfounded by the structural design and horrendous maintenance protocols we have here .
Oh but lets just pave over it . Plaster it. Parge it...paint it ....and put more pearls on that pig . No one will notice
