Not a Viggen, but a manual 1999 Saab 9-3 was my first car. Definitely had some Scandinavian charm and and was a relatively fun driver...although I wouldn't say it was particularly reliable....it especially had issues with the console-mount ignition (Saab put it there to prevent knee injuries, but the key cylinder was exposed to random dust/crap falling in).
