Yeah this is what I recall. And this questionable system has us with one game we’ve lost by more than a goal (today), more goals for than anyone else in the league and with a goal differential that is far better than our record as a result. But sure…it’s the system, and not the injury crisis.
The issue for Spurs, is that this is the second year in a row we’ve run into this. It’s a failure of the front office to not bolster the squad, plain and simple. You’re not going to compete in three competitions (soon to be four) with ~18-20 guys capable of starting games. And of course your defence falls apart when you lose 3/4 of your backline.
