Soto WAR by season: 3.7 / 5.5 / 2.5 / 6.8 / 3.7 / 6.0 / 8.1
Total - 36.3 in 7 seasons
Vlad WAR by season: 0.3 / 0.3 / 6.3 / 3.3 / 1.3 / 5.5
Total - 17.0 in 6 seasons
So if Vlad puts up a 19.3 WAR season in 2025 he'll have the same amount of career WAR as Soto did after 7 seasons.
WAR by career PA
Vlad = 0.0048 (2.4 WAR per 500 PAs)
Soto = 0.0089 (4.5 WAR per 500 PAs)
Yeah, same ball park alright.

Man. You really hate Vlad eh? Lol
It's almost like WAR isn't the be all end all of baseball. You know who had the same amount of WAR through their first seven seasons as Soto? Andrelton Simmons. Let that sink in.
Vlad's bat is absolutely in the same realm as Soto. His WAR is skewed by the position he plays. And he plays his position miles better than Soto plays RF. The Dodgers and Mets are skewing contracts with the dick wagging contests. Soto isnt worth twice as much as Bryce Harper. And unfortunately now the Jays, or someone else, is going to have to significantly overpay for Vlad too.
