I remember Huska saying that he expects Gridin to challenge for a spot on the team next season. That's high praise from him, as he didn't say that about many prospects (just Gridin and Parekh, IIRC).
Also, Solovyov needs a bit of love. Having a good season. I thought he was a bit raw last year in his showings at the NHL level, but overall, I really liked his game. He is having a good season down in the A, and I think we should probably see him up again towards the end of the season for an extended viewing. Good size and strength, good mobility, good defensively (outside of having a few hiccups now and then given his experience) and a passable (but hopefully improving) first pass. I think he will end up somewhere between a #4 (if things really pan out) down to a reliable bottom-pairing defencemen.
