Would Jankowski be a comparable for Suniev then? Also played in an inferior league in his draft year but started to use his size in college and looked really promising. Also had an NHL-caliber shot. I know he didn’t reach the high ceiling many hoped for but would you consider them comparable prospects at the same age/development?

Thank YOU stemit! I think Janko was far more of a "finesse" player that relied on his skating moreso than his size. Suniev isn't as fast as Janko was, but I think his shot is much better. Suniev is more of a power winger who will lean into opponents to drive the net. I think the trajectories are similar, in that Suniev is really benefitting from the time he will use to develop in College, and the off-ice conditioning he will get- along with learning how to play a better defensive game, all of which Janko needed as well.
