I still have no idea why Gibbons feels the need to pump an injury-prone pitcher out there for 120+ pitch outings on a consistent basis. For those familar with Baseball Prospectus, Burnett was third in the league in pitcher abuse points (PAP) before going to the DL the first time.
I'm growing more and more tired with Gibbons' act as this season goes on. Today doesn't help either. Bases loaded, 1 out, with a 1-0 lead in the 7th and they let Royce Clayton bat with Troy Glaus available as a pinch-hitter. Quick double play and Seattle still has a chance.
