This might not be that interesting to some, but it is particularly eye-raising that the CIA is attending/conducting this briefing. They don't operate on domestic issues and are notoriously tight-lipped about their (usually) top-secret, international intelligence activities. Domestic intelligence and security issues typically fall under the jurisdiction of the FBI, which is responsible for investigating threats and conducting surveillance within U.S. borders.
Effectively this could mean that there is some foreign adversary involvement here, or at the very least, not simply "hobby drones" as some government officials are making this out to be. It could be for relatively prosaic reasons why they're there too, but this may be turning into an inter-agency file, which is actually a good thing given the historically-siloed stovepiping of information between these agencies.
