  • Only 5 forwards are at the 50th percentile or above.
  • Kakko would be the 3rd slowest forward on the Flames roster. (Klapka's number might be hindered by a small sample size, Pelletier's too).
M. Pospisil 24.06, 99
R. Lomberg 22.77, 84
M. Coronata 22.56, 77
W. Duehr 22.34, 67
C. Zary 22.01, 50
J. Kirkland 21.84. 45
M. Backlund 21.85, 40
K. Rooney 21.76. 35
Y. Sharangovich 21.63, 35
N. Kadri 21.59. 30
J. Huberdeau 21.52. 25
S. Honzek 21.32. 25
B. Coleman 21.23. 20
J. Pelletier 21.13. 15
K. Kakko 21.09. 15
A. Klapka 21.07. 15
A. Kuzmenko 20.35. 5

C. McDavid 23.85. 99
J. Norris 23.76. 98
N. MacKinnon 23.16. 95
M. Rossi 22.81. 85
R. Greig 22.55. 77
D. Cozens 22.21. 61
S. Pinto 22.06. 52
M. McTavish 21.49. 30
I find it a little hard to believe Pospisil is in the 99th percentile (though he's certainly got speed) and Coleman (unless he's slowed greatly this year) is in the 20th.

That said, there are 12 forwards on a lineup and therefore having 5 above the 50th percentile seems fairly middle of the pack, no?
