Kerins issue to getting NHL time is his play away from the puck.
Don't know if that has improved or not, but Conroy watches the Wranglers all the time so would have first hand knowledge on it.
The fact the Flames are desperate for a young C (or 3) to insert in the line up and he is literally just down the hall, does not need to clear waivers if sent back down, and is leading the A in scoring after 2 months of play, but remains where he is....tells you all you need to know about how the organization feels about him.
