Man, this takes me back. I loved Tariq back in the day when he was part of the Calgary music scene. Bought both of his albums at the time (Splat, Basement Songs). I completely lost track of him after that, but your post inspired me to do some digging, and it turns out he's been living here in Vancouver for quite a while now and is still making music and touring occasionally.
