Yeah I'm with you, it's not a particularly notable or interesting piece of architecture. Lots of angles and stuff going on, but there's no real defining personality or vision there. And knowing Calgary developments, I don't expect it to be saved by great materials or exceptional craftsmanship. We were told that Little Ceasars in Detroit was their inspiration, but as of now, this looks about as atmospheric as the Devonian Gardens reno.
I'm sure it will be fine, but I was hoping for more (especially considering the price point). It doesn't help that we're coming from an icon to this.
