Well if we're being honest, the snow can be questionable anywhere in Alberta.

Sliver's not wrong with COP depending on where you're kids, and you, are at ability wise. That's where we put our daughter in lessons. (Albeit she's 4... ) The nice thing about COP is you can do after work lessons and still have your weekends free to explore a bit. We have friends with kids in the programs at Louise and Norquay and it can be a slog to go every weekend. Although that also depends on the program, Louise offers 4 and 5 week programs but the clubs usually run all season long.

People complain about COP a lot but it's a completely adequate place to learn to ski and ride. And it has one of the better parks around, the only half pipe in western Canada, and is the training ground of all of our Olympic athletes.
