Age will play a huge part here. If they're young, COP can't be beat. Close, affordable, convenient. When mine were young they were in the COP snowboard club, so it was three days a week, but quite manageable given how close the hill is. They even did training on the trampolines for air tricks.

Once they got a little too advanced for that we had to put them in the Lake Louise club, which was also sick.

I can't do Nakiska or Norquay. Norquay it just feels like I'm commuting to snowboarding on a series of crappy chairlifts. Then I need to do the reverse commute to get back to the lodge. It's the worst laid-out mountain in the world. Nakiska is jam packed with long lines, ####ty chairs and terrible snow. My kids have done programs/competitions at both hills and I don't even bring my gear. I'll sit in the lodge and play on my phone before I'll bother with those hills.

Having said that, the snow in the mountains pretty much everywhere has been reliably meh for the past couple seasons, with a couple epic days sprinkled in there.

But quality over quantity. A few days at Louise is better than 10 at Nakiska.
