It's Atkins statistical analysis that leads to paralysis and lack of action. Sure some science but u need to step out to be a great gm. We need a aj preller Or dipoto or anthoupolos or dombrowski. Somebody that will take risks to win. This management is too conservative. Might generate long-term but take risks on long term high skill prospects. Etc. High upside. Reminds me a bit of tre in their inability to sign own players
Some win now trades look bad imo too. He traded robberse and kloffenstein to lose in round 1 hicks
Nick fraso for mitch white. All 3 guys could be useful in bp this year.
Look at Nelson cruz some players age different.

I largely disagree. This isn’t a championship season they’re heading into. This year arguably and next, are pivotal years where the Jays will have to make key decisions on what approach they’ll take - build around Bo and/or Vlad, or rebuild. Overpaying for Teo in term just means we’ll have a Springer contract we’ll be stuck with. This isn’t about saving Atkins and Shapiro’s job. This about what to do for the Jays long term. If they don’t get anyone, it’ll suck but I’ll respect the clowns for not jeopardizing the Jays future. If they sign Teo long term to DH and say sign a marquee pitcher, while not addressing the rest of their lineup I simply won’t be happy. There are a ton of holes to be filled and that has to be done with good drafting and good trades. You can’t be lazy and fill through free agency and I don’t think they’ll offload Bo or Gausman to get numerous pieces back, but we’ll see.
