A business negotiation? Bull####. He tries to bully his way through things because of his ignorance of how and why things have been done in the past. You don't enter into business negotiations by insulting the other party and telling them they have nothing to offer.

Like one of the first things he did in 2017 was withdraw from TTP. Why is America in this trade agreement where the Asians call the shots, he says? It's not like he was blowing something popular up anyways, its was panned across the political spectrum. Trump's strategy, let's withdraw, and bring the Asians to the table on our terms to renegotiate. The Asians have invited China and Biden is not interested.
And how did that turn out? Trump didn't understand the deal and ####ed it up. Now we have a trade war on our hands. Ahhh, but to the dip#### set, that's just good negotiation.

He then goes to the middle east, it's up to you guys to fight terrorism, not us. We're going to ban people from coming to the US until you do. He goes to NATO, you guys aren't paying your fair share, we're going to leave if you continue.
And he didn't understand either issue or why things were the way they were. All he did was over-turn the apple cart and embolden Russia to inject themselves in Syria and Ukraine.

He withdraws from the Paris climate accord. Why are we shooting ourselves in the foot when other countries aren't, he says? They need to be put on the hook for emissions reductions. He's going to withdraw from the agreement again.
And how is that playing out? The US falls further and further behind in the technology race to take on the challenges addressed through the accord. The US could have been a world leader, instead China is the leader and kicking the United States' ass in the marketplace for all new green technologies. That's how you become an also-ran nation.

He puts together the QUAD, US, Japan, Australia, India, against China.
Trump had nothing to do with the QUAD. That was all Japan and Abe's baby. Abe actually used the policy from the Obama administration to frame the restart of the QUAD in 2017.

Withdrawl from Iran nuclear agreement
How did that play out again? Didn't understand the agreement or what it did. Iran kick started their nuclear program again and have become the most influential player in the Middle East (good and bad). Obviously knew what he was doing. 5D chess playing there.

Meeting Kim, meeting Putin, meeting the Taliban.
Emboldening all of them and giving them credence where they had little before. Trump only wanted to be accepted by the authoritarian "tough guy" set so he could flex like he was a tough guy. Too bad he proved to be a ##### and the others just took advantage of his stupidity. Didn't understand why this collective were international pariahs but has no problem cozying up to them.

There's a lot there. He mostly thinks America has made bad deals and puts pressures on countries to restructure them. Like threatening tariffs on Canada and Mexico. He'll probably get what he wants and will probably reduce them.
He doesn't understand these deals. He barely understood the businesses he bankrupted six times, but now he's going to be an expert on international affairs and diplomatic deals? Give your head a shake. All he's going to do is more damage to relations between our allies and hurt the American economy as it is forced into isolation.
