No chance on the Bourque + Coleman proposal, IMO. The Flames would want way more than that.
Looking at it with picks as the currency, Andersson is probably worth 1st + 2 2nds. Coleman 50% retained is worth maybe a 1st + 3rd, or at a bare minimum, 2 2nds.
So that's 2 1sts, 2 2nds and a 3rd, for the 2 of them. And salary would have to come back as well, or DAL wouldn't be able to do it.

Not that it would happen, but it actually seems like a solid return when you break it down that way. Andersson getting a 1st, 2nd, 2nd that could be a 1st. Then it's basically Coleman for Bourque 1 for 1 which I think is more than he's worth. I would do that trade and I think Bourque still has a higher upside than 3rd line C, hes buried on Dallas playing 10 mins a night.
