What an awful way to treat your captain. Doubly so given the team is performing well. Brutal look for the Rangers IMO. I hope players remember this. I get that they wanted out of his contract but there’s better ways to approach it than this. Really weak move by the Rangers.

I hope you're right. Every little boy whose dream it is to play for the storied New York Rangers should keep this incident in their minds.
But they wont. Its the New York Rangers. They could have pushed Trouba in front of a Bus on Broadway at Lunch and stopped to take photos with his Corpse and it wouldnt change a thing.
The Rangers can get away with anything.
