If he was willing to go anywhere, there’s likely no prospect in the league that would be considered an unreasonable asset to be included in the trade. Even amongst young NHLers (under the age of 21), I think Bedard and Celebrini might be the only young players in the league that would be unreasonable to be included in a Crosby trade.

If Crosby made a point that Colorado had to pay a high price so that the Penguins would be getting good value, I think they would get Ritchie + maybe three first round picks. Maybe more. It would depend on Crosby making a stand to say he’s willing to be traded but only if Colorado paid a good return to Pittsburgh.
I don’t think Crosby at his age gets a much as you think. Yes he is still an elite player, but dont think the package returns 3 firsts plus young top assets for a 37 yr old Crosby.
