And I think at this point the Avs might be able to be happy with just average to slightly below average goaltending to make it work for them.
And it's not like Vladars been playing badly. We should not try to diminish a players current level of play just because he's only played a certain amount of games.

Perhaps but for the Av’s to give up a first, which looks like a 2026, and their best prospect in a trade that still leaves them with a big question in net is a hell of a price to pay.
I would sooner just trade the first, alone, for Blackwood who is the same age, had previously shown to be able to play at the same, or better level, has more than twice the amount of NHL starts, and is basically at the same cap hit.
