Zary played wing in the A which is ideally where he would have learned the position as a pro. Now the Flames have little choice but to give him a look and I agree patience is needed. He’s probably not playing Center on many NHL teams.

Not many teams have 2 natural centers on their roster lol.
I’m not going to lie and say I saw him in the minors but based on our options I’d much rather give him the chance to learn it over a Sharangovich or Pospisil.
It’s just hard to judge with our lack of talent. It’s not like we can slap Huberdeau on his wing to see what we can unlock.
