I think 40's is the age where you can no longer get away with bad habits.
If you exercise, sleep & eat healthy; it's not old at all and you can pretty much do anything.
If you have unhealthy habits, the decline will happen quickly.
So I guess to answer the original question; can no longer get away with unhealthy habits.
