I am not as quick as Cali is to say that he is checked out, but either it is simply a symptom of how the have to play to win games, or it is a nagging injury that is bugging him, or he has checked out, or it is father time breathing down his neck. I guess we will see what the rest of the season shows before we can start really figuring out what it might be.
Hopefully he just gets on a heater in the next segment of games.

I imagine it’s a combination of all of that. I’m not defending him, just resigned to the reality that we are pretty much stuck with him. As far as Cali’s point that he is ruining his legacy, well it’s a little early to say something like that.
Why Treliving felt the need to sign the guy to a 7 year contract in August when no other teams could afford to do so is a whole other story.
