If they can get the young center they've been touting for months, then I think the next move to make is offload Kadri.
His role has become to center the 'dog house' line, so as to essentially keep all the liability players together and away from the other lines.
He was great last year but this is a new season and it was arguably more important that he show up as his best self now after all the departures and a group of youth needing leadership.
If he's going to revert to the me-first player that scores one goal for every four he sees scored on his line while he's out there there count me out for keeping this guy for the rebuild.
I thought there would be a lot of movement between the Wranglers and Flames given where they're at, and am a little disappointed about that. Maybe the most exciting prospect of a rebuilding team for me was that since there weren't any established superstars whoever earned it on any given night would see ice the next game, and you would have a continual rotation of players including whoever has proven themselves on the Wranglers.
I guess on D they did that prior to the road trip. Hanley hasn't convinced me that he's a better choice than Bean though. I want to see more of that guy.
