Do follow Reuters, follow Associated Press, follow Canadian Press, follow actual newswire agencies that report the news. If you develop media literacy and critical thinking you can start looking at editorials and biased primary sources (like Trump) but try to do so in a balanced way. Until you develop the "that's probably BS, I should fact check it" reflexes the best way to protect yourself from being fooled is to simply disconnect from the sort of people who would seek to fool you.

Unlike what I suspect most here would want, though, I will encourage you to keep sharing what you find "interesting" with us though, please. We'll debunk the bunk for you if you won't debunk it yourself.
