That's the thing. If #### is getting across the border into the U.S., that speaks as much or more about their border security. When you cross the border, you are usually under scrutiny by the border agency of the country you are entering, not the one you are leaving. At lease that is how it works here. In some parts of the world, typically in more authoritarian countries, it works both way.
Anyway, he isn't totally wrong. Our border security sucks, but it's pretty hypocritical of him to look down at Canada while for decades weapons, drugs, and human traffickers have infiltrated Canada from the U.S. I always thought that was more on us and our lax border control, not on them.
It sucks that Canada now has to align policies to appease a dip#### that no one here voted for, but I guess that's the way the world works especially when you are a de facto satellite of a world power.
