Probably many ways. Agree that probably the best way to secure a young C from a contender is likely trading our most valuable chip in Andersson, I guess depends on who, which C and the other team’s requirements.

Yes, agreed. That could be a path. I could see Conroy packaging some picks for a young (under 23) year old prospect. That would fit the bill in terms of what the Flames have said and executed. They’ve also let it be known they would take contracts.
Have to wonder though, which team might be on position to A) want to dump a contract B) has a young C that may be buried. I’m not sure if I see a clear candidate. Also, does Zary’s move to C change anything?
