I genuinely believe that 2020-21 is a pivotal period of history in the sense that it was a year people and politicians did and advocated for a lot of crazy, overboard, clown stuff for which they quickly forgave themselves but which was neither forgotten nor forgiven by a material portion of the electorate.
And it's going to skew elections for 35+ years to the right. I myself am a former progressive thats fully vaxxed and made $$$$ through covid. But I will probably never vote for a progressive party ever again because of the long-term damage they did to our country. The polls clearly show demographic shifts that make clear many people feel the same, with Gen Z and millennials turning to conservatism younger than previous generations.
The Republicans won the house, the Senate, the presidency. This isn't just about trump. And imo it's not going to be a one term phenomenon or contained to the US.

Lol Trump won uneducated whites and nobody else. Trump inherited a great economy after 8 years of Obama and only took 4 years to destroy it. This time will be far worse.
The Sharks and Ducks played for the cup and somebody had to win...neither side had a good candidate. House/Senate were setup for republicans to do well, it will be the opposite in 2 years especially in the house. Things will continue to swing back and fourth as people blame the government for their ####ty lives.
34+ years lol, come on now
You people talk like this is the biggest landslide of all time and a mandate to do whatever he pleases...Guy got 77M votes, not even 50% of votes cast. Really this election was a layup for the republicans considering inflation due largely to Covid...Trump actually kept it close.
