So, regarding Lower Decks, I get the impression that they're the victims of their own success.

Its not as though they're being cancelled because they suck, but rather that Tawny Newsome is being tapped to work on another project and Jack Quaid is a busy actor.

However, I dont know what the ratings are like, but as a Star Trek fan I think its great. I dont see any reason to cancel it other than potentially costs and/or being unable to retain their talent.

Thats something about the Simpsons, they've managed to retain voice talent for a long, long, loooooong time, but not everyone can pull that off.
