That probably should have been called back (even though it had no real immediate impact on the goal and is stupid it's even reviewable).

This was one tricky. I guess ultimately they determined flames did not gain an advantage.
It’s funny because he intentionally tried to bat it, missed and it ended up being a deflection, which I think should be fine. But as we saw Laviolette demonstrate to the refs, when a guy has his hand at eye level, it’s hard to say it’s a deflection.
Quirky play indeed. I’m fine with the call either way, this one was borderline. But it makes me more pissed about the play from last year we had called back that was an awful call.
