I went a very long time without downloading an app that did much of anything for me, but a few weeks ago I tried Snipd, which is basically an app I'd been dreaming of making for years.
It's a podcast app with a big old button in the middle that grabs the last minute of whatever you're listening to, so it's essentially a way to take notes or keep bookmarks from a podcast (that's about as far as my dream went).
What's more, it uses AI to generate the title and content of the bookmark so you can easily scan or search for the snip later. If it grabs the wrong section or just misses the key point you wanted, it presents you the transcript with the snip highlighted, which you can then manually drag around to get just the part you want. When you hit save, it then asks if you want to regenerate the title and description of the snip (assuming you've adjusted what it's now about).
It's probably the closest thing I've seen to a perfect podcast app for me.
