I think Wolf will likely be looking for around 5-6 years.
He will be 25 when this new contract kicks in. 8 years would take him to 33 years old...which is about the age when goalies aren't going to get another big contract.
I think he will want to be in line to get another pay day at 30-31 years old...which means a 5 or 6 year deal is likely what he's looking for.
Ideally the Flames would be able to lock him up for 8 but his agent probably will have other plans.
