The American lifestyle and food system is making it's way all over the world and it's having drastic affects on the health and wellbeing of other countries at the same time. The level of corruption between industry and agencies like the FDA is unreal. Big business like food companies and drug companies really just bully through the FDA.
The FDA has become effectively a marketing arm for a lot of these companies. If you look at vaping and e-cig products, people actually believe these claims by Tabaco companies and the FDA. The official line from the FDA in regards to e-cigs is "these products are appropriate for the protection of public health.” That is beyond bonkers.
Just look around and see the disaster that has become the opioids and it's still going on. Regulatory failure across the board.
Forget what RFK thought about vaccines and a lot of other things, the Democrats were stupid to dismiss him and some of his supporters (not me) Some aspects of what he is saying is 100% accurate and people can see it and feel it every single day either through their corrupt food system, the corrupt pharma system and a lot more.
It would have been wise for the Democrats to actually take RFK's meeting about a potential seat at the table in a Harris administration and walk away with an army of information. Pretending everything is hunky dory with food companies and drug companies in America isn't honest. I don't think Trump and RFK are going to really fix things in that area either, hopefully they do positive things, but the hope of something positive also does lead to voters turning out for a better outcome.
