There were talks in the summer around:
CGY receives: Cozens + Byram
BUF receives: Andersson + Pospisil
With that said talks very much continue between the two teams, but I've NOT heard confirmation that those names are still on the board.
I do think that Buffalo has tried to pivot away from Cozens and inserting Krebs, but Calgary wasn't very high on Krebs whos definitely not a comparable to Cozens at this point.
Adams is very high on Hellenius, I'd wager it would take a significant offer from Calgary to even get Kevyn moving in that direction - Andersson + 1st + ______
- There's very much significant dialogue between the two, and I know Buffalo has broadened there forward ask from Calgary (including Coronato)
- Now what I do know is that Craig continues to listen to any and all offers on our players.
- Andersson remains commodity #1 on our roster, and it sounds like his name is the hottest around the league right now.
- Craig is not open to trading Coronato nor Backlund at this time, obviously other players on this list like Wolf/Parekh etc
- Craig's priority is still a #1/2 Center preferably under 25
- Vladar's name continues to come up - Not entirely sure how eager Craig is to trade him however
