Dach is a huge forward (6'4'' 220+lbs) with talent. That's always a valuable commodity. He's only played in the playoffs once, but elevated his stats there.
Montreal is a tire fire right now, Dach likely gets a boost in numbers just from playing just about anywhere else.
I don't see Dach as a #1 centre, but he'd be a great depth centre. His size alone, will make him difficult to play against. He's not the most physical player, but he does throw a couple of hits a game and seems more and more willing to do so as he gets older. He recently beat the crap out Ridly Greig.
Dach is far from the franchise center the Flames need, but he'd be a great player to have on any roster.
