I think people have downplayed his offensive upside going back to the draft for some reason.
He produced well as a 17 year old in a mens league. (higher production than Rantanen in his draft year)
And now he has 5 goals and 6 points in 11 games as an 18 year old in the AHL, which is a tough league for 18 year olds to score and produce in.
He has top 6 if not top line upside but people always seem to ignore his actual production and say he has middle 6 center upside.
