My overall thoughts on a great day:

That first half. Wow. Probably the best soccer I have seen them play in a very long time. The penalty was definitely a penalty, and there was bound to be a breakthrough at some point (though we know how it goes sometimes), it was a giant stress release. And to follow it up with a second shortly after was exactly what the doctor ordered.

The second half was generally tidy and defensive, and if we're honest, that was a pleasant surprise. Very few mistakes, good ball movement, and it really stumped Forge. For all of the criticism of Tommy's tactics and preparation over the years, especially in the big games, this time he nailed it and they players did their part.

It was such a great feeling to see the stands absolutely packed, continuous singing and chanting, etc.

Parking wasn't an issue for me as I arrived early and visited the tailgate. I did see that they opened up a dirt horse area south of the 7/8 lots (across that south access road), and I'm sure that any available spots in on the grounds were made available. Credit to the club for being prepared.

Food and drink - didn't partake, so it didn't impact me, but I'm sure the lines were long. Washroom line at half was the longest I had ever seen it behind the stands. Obviously more people = more pee, but also that first half was so good, nobody wanted to leave their seats. When the Forge player went down just as first half stoppage time started, I made a dash and beat the line and was quite proud of my awareness and didn't miss any action.

Just a great day all around. Full credit to everyone involved - the club, supporters, players, staff, etc. It all came together and the vibe was incredible. Winning helps too!
