Wolf’s Night Out

After hearing Wolf was a Junior King I immediately called him shutting us out tonight. I really hope I’m wrong!

The better team got the +2 tonight. Way more connected for the duration of the game. Took the boys half the game to figure out how to get any kind of sustained zone time.
Too much slop in the first 30 minutes. Their first goal a direct result. Really frustrating 6v4, too. They acted like it was a first period power play with no urgency. Darcy looked good and good for Wolf, too. Hometown kid, maybe the best goalie I’ve ever seen, not sure how we got one by him

They havent been able to complete a pass for three seasons and they insist they are the globe trotters trying to make fancy plays. Their goals come off tips, point shots, greasy goals and shooting off the rush.

Can Wolf get a shutout against his childhood team?

Good game, we’re not scoring two in 3 minutes with how we have played so far. Embarrassing game. Needed depth scoring this offseason with so many good looking choices and we get Jeannot and Joel. We are so ####ing lucky our young guys have looked good so far or we’d be at the bottom. At least we didn’t get a lot/or any power plays so we couldn’t be disappointed by that. This especially stings because we pasted on Wolf.
But hey at least we hit more in these losses

No one cares about team defense.
We play with no intensity.

The management, coaching and players don’t give a sh*t. This team doesn’t have it.

We have no identity. We aren't fast anymore, we aren't a rush team anymore, we aren't physical, we don't play with any energy, we aren't a volume shooting team from everywhere, we don't generate any quality looks in the o zone. We are just a perimeter team that can't really generate any good looks almost anywhere in the ice unless it's a perfect passing play.

You don’t need to trade for a superstar. You just need an actual bonafide top 4 defenseman and/or a starting goalie.

Except actual winners don’t do this:

Florida first 15 games after their Cup- 9-3-1 so far

Cup hangovers are just an excuse- it’s bad management, a historically bad goalie coach, a flawed roster and some rocks for brains players at key positions who are sinking us (along with the usual crooked officiating, but until the team calls it out, they deserve to suffer).
