Chicago, LA, Tampa, Florida, Colorado they all went through the pain. I know others have as well and it hasn’t turned around as quickly for them but they have had other issues as well poor management or ownership. I don’t see that being an issue here.

How about St Louis? Or Vegas? They won, without drafting a Crosby / Malkin or Ovechkin or Kucherov / Stamkos combo

Yeah, Vegas got gifted a nice expansion draft and built around it (and shame on Seattle, some good management and they could be better than they are)

I would like to see management optimize resources, draft well in the slot they get, not to tank and mismanage the rest of the roster, and squander pretty much everything
