I read an article today that said Gridin isn't playing the way he did last season, and that he's coasting, playing with little or no pace, avoiding contact, and not employing the same board game that he did last year. If he played with the same energy and pace as he did in the USHL, instead of sliding by on pure skill, he would be dominating. They say he looks "ordinary".

Not good news. You'd think after signing his ELC he'd be fired up.
