The current spread between WTI and WCS is about 12 bucks ($72 to $60). Once you slap on the 20% tariff on that 60 dollars the Alberta guys would be getting about $48 bucks a barrel. Trump has to do this to protect America but I am not sure it is as good for Alberta as some folks think it will be.
