No, Rogan is not an empty vessel that democrats can just go on and use to their advantage, not even close. He goes easy and provides a safe place to speak for people that he likes/agrees with, which makes it look like an empty vessel show with high ratings.
He skews to the far right/conspiracy/progressive democrats are ruining America are ruining the country, so those guests come on and get to advertise their thoughts with little to no pushback. He has guests on that run counter every so often, but it is a wildly different interview. He suddenly turns into a hard hitting, no nonsense host.
One exception is that he really likes Bernie Sanders, oddly enough for a lot of the reasons that the Dems never saw Bernie as a legitimate presidential candidate.
