Her choice of VP was a huge mistake as well. Walz showed poorly to swing voters and did nothing to energize the base. Colossal mistake not to pick the Pennsylvania governor and pick up votes in a key battleground state.

With Pennsylvania being 2.5 points a Homegrown VP was unlikely to make it up. In addition half of the Michigan loss is their position on Israel and the Jill Stein vote which Shapiro wouldn’t have helped with.
VP picks don’t really matter outside of the home state. And on this particular map certainly did not matter given she lost 3 states she needed to win.
